Terms of Use

1. The service

Nimbus is a study tool that helps medical students use AI to generate notes, flashcards and quizzes from their course material (PDFs, slides, notebook photos and office files), ask questions about that material and study with spaced repetition.

2. Account and age

You need to sign in with your Apple or Google account to use the App. You are responsible for the security of your account and for activity under it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If your country sets a higher age and you are below it, you need the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. AI content and medical disclaimer

Notes, flashcards, quizzes and answers are generated automatically by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

Nimbus is a study aid only. Its output is not medical advice and must not be used for any decision about diagnosis, treatment, drug dosage or patient care. Always verify important information against reliable sources such as textbooks, current guidelines and your instructors.

4. Your content

The files you upload and the content generated from them belong to you. You grant us permission to store, process and pass this content to our service providers (e.g. Google for AI processing) solely to provide the service to you.

You confirm that you have the right to use the material you upload (for example, for your own personal study) and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Do not upload identifiable health data of patients or other people.

You agree that if the same file has already been processed with the same settings, the anonymous note generated from it may also be served to other users who upload the identical file (see Privacy Policy, section 6).

5. Prohibited use

• using the App for unlawful purposes or in a way that infringes others' rights,
• using automated tools that overload or disrupt the service or circumvent plan limits,
• reverse engineering, copying or reselling the App, or attempting unauthorised access to its systems,
• uploading malware or illegal content.

We may suspend or close your account if these rules are broken.

6. Free plan and Nimbus Premium

The App can be used on a free plan with usage limits. Nimbus Premium is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions with higher usage limits. Premium also has monthly fair-use limits; current limits are shown in the App.

Subscription terms:

• Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal after purchase in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep Premium until then.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple's own process at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds directly. You can restore your subscription on a new device or after reinstalling with the Restore (Geri yükle) button in the App.

Price changes are communicated in advance in accordance with Apple's rules.

7. Intellectual property

All rights in the App, its design, logo and software belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Changes to the service and interruptions

We may change, add or remove features to improve the App. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we shut down the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and let you retrieve your data.

9. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for errors in AI-generated content, decisions made in reliance on it, exam results, data loss or indirect damages.

This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any statutory consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract.

10. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time and delete your account and all data under Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; cancel it separately in your Apple ID settings. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time and will announce material changes in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected, and you may bring disputes before the competent consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.

13. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple; we, not Apple, are responsible for the App and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Apple's Standard EULA. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
